I had a heart transplant at Shands a year and a half ago. You are in very good hands. My doctors and nurses were amazing and I am confident that yours are, as well.

Although I am quite a bit older than you, my illness was completely unexpected and out of the blue, as well. So, I think I have an idea of what you are going through. It sounds like you have a lot of support from friends and family, which makes all of the difference in the world. Try to stay positive. A good attitude will help you in your recovery. Listen to your doctors and nurses, they are only there to help.

If you have any questions or need to talk, you can contact me at chadogd@gmail.com. Hang in there, buddy. My family and I will keep you in our thoughts.

ChadChadOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17224210389012567701noreply@blogger.com
